Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Day Shift - Early shift Monday – Friday 7:00 – 17:10 (30 min unpaid lunch break). They currently have opportunities for 2 highly capable and experienced multi-skilled engineers to join their team The ideal candidate should possess expertise in food manufacturing operations, including mechanical and electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and process optimization. Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards. What they offer: * 23 days Annual Leave plus UK bank holidays and addition days leave for birthday and wellbeing day * Retailer discounts * Discounted fresh fruit * Private Healthcare - conditions apply * Life Assurance - conditions apply * Charity Community day Equipment used * Conveyors/ * Cooking and cooling equipment. * IQF Freezing tunnels * Tray sealing equipment. * Check weighers. * Metal detectors. * Multihead weighing machines. * Vertical form fill bagging machines. * End of line packing equipment. * Ink jet printers for case coding. * Site services, water treatment, Steam boilers, refrigeration equipment, wash down systems. * Welding and general fabrication - beneficial Duties and Responsibilities in order to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance duties, in addition to completing engineering projects around the site • Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company procedures, particularly relating to (though not exclusively to) health and safety, quality and environment management. • Continuously assesses equipment for efficiency and purpose and implement improvements so that output will be optimised. • Use line monitoring, fault finding and problem-solving systems/techniques in order to maximise utilisation of all site equipment, by minimising downtime through scheduled maintenance, and continuous improvement • Completing engineering project tasks and making improvements to existing equipment as appropriate. • Diagnosing faults and putting forward improvement suggestions and undertaking improvements as required. • Installing new equipment and relocating existing equipment. • Work and support the factory line setters to ensure they have help when needed and address any production line / machinery issues with them.
