Role Responsibilities
* Interact politely with guests – greet them, say ‘thank you’ and ‘goodbye’
* Service bedrooms and all other areas of the hotel in line with our standard operating procedures
* Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required
* Follow correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when more are needed
* Store all laundry correctly and complete relevant documentation
* Adhere to stock‑control procedures and maintain security of stock at all times
* Report any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents or maintenance issues to the manager on duty
* Complete required induction, role‑specific and ongoing refresher training and contribute to continuous improvement

Most Wetherspoon team leaders and managers started in the kitchen or behind the bar.
