Overview
We are looking for a passionate and committed key worker to join our wonderful Early Years team. Castlefield School is a Foundation School with a purpose-built Nursery. We pride ourselves in putting our children at the heart of all we do.
Required: for September 2026 or earlier
Salary Grade: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Hours: 32.5 hours per week post, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only, including INSET days.
Contract: initially fixed for a year
Start date: September 2026 or earlier
Closing date: Noon on Friday 5th June 2026
Interviews: Week commencing Monday 8th June 2026

Our school-based Nursery consists of a two year old room, a three year old room and a shared large outdoor space. Our Reception department is spaciously based across three large rooms with ample outdoor space.

About the role
To work as a key-worker and as part of the Early Years team under the direction of the Room Leader/Lead Teacher to provide safe, high quality education and care for a named young child or group of children.
