The Role
The Terminal Operator is responsible for the delivery of bulk liquids of a flammable/hazardous nature. The successful candidate will also participate in the mooring and unmooring of vessels while connecting and disconnecting cargo transfer systems.
Principal Responsibilities
* Undertaking all planned and unplanned maintenance work on equipment
* Crewing the mooring boats and loading barges where necessary
* Responding to Safety Critical System Alarms and incidents and taking appropriate action to prevent incidents
* Sampling cargo and equipment in preparation for dispatch
* Carrying out routine inspections of the jetty area
* Accurately updating operating logs
* Safely operating plant and equipment and reporting defects
* Performing ship mooring operations as part of the line handling team
