Your Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for Project Logistics. They possess a deep understanding of the Project Logistics market, service offerings, and operational requirements. The role is primarily customer-facing, focusing on hunting for new business and collaborating closely with the Pricing and Customer Excellence Teams.
Your Responsibilities
* Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that solutions offered to national customers are effectively implemented and applicable.
* Prioritize opportunities and coordinate with teams to develop these into firm awards.
* Manage tenders and bids for major potential customers, including obtaining necessary approvals.
* Organize regular communication and meetings within the Key Account Management Team and other Development Functions.
* Drive business development activities jointly with national, regional, and global stakeholders involved in Marine Logistics.
* Maintain communication channels with customers to align on expectations regarding solutions, timelines, costs, and results.
* Balance sales activities with operational execution, including implementing solutions within customer excellence teams.
* Support and drive the implementation of the UK Project Logistics strategy.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Proven success in a B2B sales environment, with a track record of winning sales and driving growth.
* Extensive experience in Project Logistics, including EPC projects.
* Highly proficient with computers, organized, accurate, detail-oriented, and experienced with CRM software.
* Possession of a full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
