Development Support Manager

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative individual to support the delivery of transformation and change initiatives across the Care Group. The role involves implementing changes aligned to the Trust Strategic Objectives and 28 Promises, developing workflows and processes, and supporting staff through the introduction of new technologies and equipment. You will work closely with clinical and corporate teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and improved service delivery.
The post is fixed term until 31 March 2027.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in change management or service improvement, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of healthcare environments.
* Experience of reporting and analysing data from systems to provide information/assurance in line with project requirements.
* Support implementation of systems and processes to monitor and report on compliance (e.g., SMI Physical Health Checks, S117 Reviews, Waiting Times).
* Work at any location within the Trust footprint and engage partner agencies to deliver project objectives.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant qualification, or demonstrable experience plus a baseline attainment at level 3 with a commitment to undertake level 4 at the point of employment.
* 5 GCSEs including English and Maths or equivalent standard of education.
* Prince 2 or related project management qualification e.g., QSIR.
Experience
* Demonstrable supervisory or line management experience.
* Experience of project/change management.
* Experience of effective problem solving and meeting deadlines.
* Experience of creating project and business documentation.
* Experience of reporting and analysing data from systems to provide information/assurance in line with project requirements.
Knowledge
* Knowledge and understanding of the NHS and experience of working in a health‑related environment.
Skills / Abilities
* Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and presentation software.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Ability to produce high quality project and business documentation.
* Ability to use technology, knowledge and influence to communicate quickly and effectively.
