* Maintain governance data and oversee the trustee lifecycle, including managing a detailed Board skills matrix and attendance records.
* Support the Company Secretary in ensuring compliance and promoting governance best practice.
* Identify opportunities to enhance administrative systems and processes through effective use of technology.
* Organise internal events and occasional UK travel for the CEO (predominantly London-based).
* “Manage up” by anticipating the needs of the CEO and Chair, ensuring they are well-briefed and have the time and information needed to focus on strategic priorities.
About You
You will be an accomplished Executive Assistant with substantial C-suite or Board-level experience, ideally gained within the charity or health sectors. However, candidates from the private sector who are passionate about transitioning into a purpose-driven environment will also be considered.
You will bring:
* A track record of supporting senior executives in complex, fast-paced environments.
* Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, professional, and calm approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and think strategically.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in governance and compliance.
