TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) are looking for someone to join the ever-growing team as an Inspection Engineer (CAT 4) on a permanent basis to cover the Southern Region (UK).

The Role:
The Inspector reports to the Local Head of department/Team Leader or team of Inspection staff dealing with the Inspection of pressurised static equipment e.g. vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices, to meet regulatory and client requirements
For larger shutdowns the inspector is required to coordinate their work with other inspectors. For repairs and fitness for service the inspector coordinates with the CAT 2 Inspection Engineer and functional engineers to define the optimum solution.
What are we looking for?
Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
At least 5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e.g. mechanical technician.
Experience of non-destructive examination techniques (NDT)
Experience of Pressure Equipment
Engineering Technician status - desirable.
Mechanical Engineering background (Chemical and /or Oil & Gas sectors desirable)
Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail.
Good interpersonal skills, and the capability to work independently.
