* To provide clear, understandable health information and education to families, carers, and school staff, empowering them to manage the child's health needs confidently.

* To maintain accurate, timely, and legible electronic patient records in line with professional and trust standards.

Leadership, Management and Team Working:

* To work independently within the scope of practice, while recognising the limits of their own competence and seeking support and direction from the Band 6 nurse as required.

* To contribute to a positive, supportive team environment.

* To supervise and support junior staff, students, and volunteers as appropriate.

* To participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.

Professional Responsibilities:

* To adhere to the NMC Code of Conduct, maintaining professional registration and responsibility for own continued professional development (CPD).

* To participate in clinical supervision, appraisal, and mandatory training.

* To have a good understanding and working knowledge of safeguarding procedures for children and young people, acting promptly on any concerns in line with trust policy.

* To utilise IT systems effectively for patient records, communication, and data management.
