As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with senior business leaders to provide insightful financial information, supporting effective commercial strategies that enhance decision-making and departmental performance.
The role involves offering financial business partnering services to various divisions, focusing on key areas such as Sales or Service.
Responsibilities of the role
* Partner with members of the Senior Leadership team to analyze and link financial reports to business strategies and plans.
* Assist senior leaders in driving financial performance improvements, cost control, and operational efficiency.
* Support business case development and tracking of strategic investments using KPIs.
* Manage budgeting and forecasting for overheads and maintain financial planning models.
* Develop and report on commercial strategies for each department.
* Ensure cost control governance and provide relevant data for investment and savings decisions.
* Support organizational structure changes and cost-saving initiatives with financial insights.
* Undertake project-based work related to strategies and initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, GDPR, and quality policies.
* Contribute to process and procedure improvements within the Finance team.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and teams across the organization.
Experience / Qualifications
* At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in roles such as Management Accountant, Finance Manager, or Finance Analyst.
* Experience in business partnering with senior teams, influencing decisions in dynamic environments.
* Deep knowledge of cost control management and initiative tracking.
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or CIMA).
* Preferred industry experience: IT, Utilities, or Service provision.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
