Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for an Automotive Quality Engineer to work in Wolverhampton.
Job Details:
* Pay: Up to £22.50 per hour (PAYE) or up to £27.15 per hour (Umbrella)
* Hours of Work: 7.00am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required, as it could involve possible Afternoon Shifts
* Duration: Temporary role for 6 months initially but this could be extended
* Benefits: Immediate start available and potential overtime opportunities.
Job Role - Automotive Quality Engineer
1. Providing structured supplier technical assistance
2. Ensure purchased components meet required standards for Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost
3. Lead & support robust closure of all supplier quality related issues for all new model related programmes
4. Using 8D methodology
5. Improving Supplier capability
6. Leading a variety of projects
7. Supplier issue management
8. Developing relationships with a variety of internal stakeholders and supplier representatives
9. Assess & implement escalation for supplier whom have recorded repeat / significant quality issues during pre build activities within the plant
