What You’ll Build
As a Backend Engineer, you’ll architect the foundations of The Flex: the systems, APIs, and automation layers that coordinate global inventory, sync bookings in real time, and enable properties to operate autonomously. Your work will blend digital automation with real‑world logistics—enabling thousands of stays to run smoothly without manual intervention.
Your Mission
* Build the Core – Design and scale robust APIs and backend services that manage bookings, payments, availability, and property intelligence.
* Automate the Workflows – Develop serverless functions and microservices that eliminate repetitive tasks and streamline operations across cities and continents.
* Connect the Ecosystem – Implement integrations between Base360.ai and major platforms such as Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, and Hostaway.
* Engineer for Scale – Architect event‑driven systems and data pipelines capable of handling millions of events and transactions reliably.
* Power Intelligence – Work with AI and data teams to embed smart automation and predictive logic into operational flows.
* Collaborate Closely – Partner with product, front‑end, and operations teams to translate messy real‑world challenges into simple, scalable backend solutions.
You’ll Excel in This Role If You Have
* Expertise with Node.js, Python/FastAPI, and AWS serverless.
* Strong experience building and scaling API‑first products.
* A deep understanding of databases, synchronization logic, and distributed systems.
* A passion for automation, intelligent operations, and emerging PropTech.
