Absolute has made its first acquisition of a South-East based IFA firm with £1.1 billion of assets under advice, with a strong pipeline of future acquisitions.
Absolute is now entering a rapid growth phase and we are building our M&A team, with the appointment of an M&A Integration Manager. This is a rare opportunity to join at the early stages of a Private Equity-backed business, working directly with an experienced senior leadership team, and materially contribute in building a best in class M&A corporate finance team.

Reporting to: Managing Director (M&A)
Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced M&A Integration Manager to lead the post-completion integration of newly acquired firms. You will support in the development and optimisation of the integration plan and will take responsibility for coordinating cross-functional workstreams to ensure clients, advisers, and staff are seamlessly onboarded into the Group, while safeguarding client experience and maximising synergy delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver integration plans (Day 1, 100-day, and beyond).
* Coordinate multi-function integration workstreams (operations, HR, IT, compliance, finance).
* Lead client onboarding and data migration, ensuring continuity of service.
* Manage adviser/staff integration, TUPE processes, inductions, and cultural alignment, with the support of other central support teams.
* Coordinate with the Head of IT to deliver IT and systems migration (CRM, planning tools, compliance systems).
* Liaise with Head of Compliance to ensure regulatory approvals and communications are executed correctly.
* Track and report on integration KPIs (client retention, staff retention, synergies).
* Act as an escalation point for integration issues.
* Deliver regular progress updates to senior leadership.
Skills and Experience
* 3+ years in project/integration management, preferably within financial services.
* Strong understanding of IFA / wealth management operations.
* Experience managing complex, multi-workstream projects.
* Excellent communication and change management skills.
