This exciting new property, formerly Elmers Court, brings the same luxurious, energetic vibe and coastal sophistication, now inspired by the chic, relaxed style of The Hamptons.
Role overview
The Assistant Head of Housekeeping – Spa will play a pivotal role in maintaining the impeccable standards of the Spa and wellness areas within the NICI Hotel. This role ensures that guest-facing spa facilities, treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and back-of-house zones are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. Working closely with the Spa Director, the Assistant Head will help establish operational standards, oversee the housekeep team, and deliver a seamless, luxury experience aligned with the hotels's aesthetic. This is a hands-on leadership role in a newly opened property, offering the chance to shape procedures and team culture from the start.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily housekeeping operations within the spa, including treatment rooms, relaxation areas, locker rooms, and staff areas.

Supervise, train, and motivate the spa housekeeping team to maintain consistent, high standards.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with NICI brand standards.

Assist with staff scheduling, inventory, and supply management for the spa department.

Work closely with the Spa Director and management to ensure smooth coordination between spa operations and housekeeping.

Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are followed at all times.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or spa setting.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire a team.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Knowledge of spa operations, treatments, and wellness facility requirements is preferred.

Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

A proactive, hands-on approach and strong problem-solving ability.
