We are delighted to be building a strong internal Group Legal Team to support our transformation.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
This Newly Qualified Legal Counsel role is to join our in-house legal team to assist with and provide legal support and advice across the organisation to ensure compliance and mitigate risk while enabling business growth.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Draft, review, and maintain a variety of commercial agreements (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.).
* Provide guidance on contractual obligations and risk management
* Advise internal stakeholders on legal issues relating to commercial operations, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
* Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical advice.
* Work closely with business units to provide pragmatic legal solutions.
* Liaise with external counsel where necessary and manage associated costs.
* Conduct legal research on relevant laws and regulations.
* Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Newly Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction)
* Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Strong research and organisational skills.
