Cheshire West and Chester's statutory safeguarding partners are looking for a person with experience as an independent chair or senior member of either a safeguarding adult's board or children who can work with them to develop and embed new multi-agency safeguarding arrangements that meet the requirements set out in the Care Act 2014.
This role requires an outstanding individual with proven experience of chairing complex meetings at a senior level, particularly in partnership settings, and who has a good operational and strategic understanding of the safeguarding adult's agenda.
The successful candidate will need to evidence they can:
* Provide strong leadership and strategic vision.
* Demonstrate excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
* Demonstrate experience in building and maintaining productive partnerships.
* Analyse complex information and provide robust scrutiny and challenge.
* Have detailed understanding of relevant regulations.
* Ensure all partner agencies in Cheshire West and Chester collaborate effectively to safeguard adults, promote their welfare and improve outcomes.
* Endorse the key principles of making safeguarding personal and can influence practice focused on outcomes for people.

The fees paid for this role will be on a day-rate basis (8 hours a day). The annual contract value is estimated to be up to GBP 12,500 based on attendance of up to 25 days per annum.
