Senior Quantity Surveyor on a high‑value project at Hinkley Point. This Fixed Term Contract position is for a minimum of 2 years and includes an excellent salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the successful commercial outcome of this key nuclear industry project
* Commercial responsibility for the contract management and delivery
* Managing variations and changes with customers
* Working as part of an experienced commercial team
* Developing key relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS
* Construction industry experience in a commercial role
* Strong experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
* Good communication skills with the ability to influence
* An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable
* Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining repeat business
