My client is at the forefront of building and operating sustainable infrastructure in key UK and European markets. My client has deployed over c.£400m, covering around 40 assets to date, and they are currently on an exciting journey, building towards an aspiration of over £2bn of AUM in the next 3 years. The Why? New/Nascent Asset Class – You have the chance to shape the future of a new business in a nascent sector that is well-positioned to become a major institutional real estate asset class. What do you need to bring to the table? Assist with overseeing and implementing the business's transaction process and ensure deal metrics, budgets, and schedules are being met or exceeded. Ensure development risk is mitigated and escalate concerns as necessary for the following: Entitlements include council approvals, official plan amendments, planning amendments, and variances to bylaws and consents. Provide direction to team members and external construction managers responsible for the design and construction of all projects. Monitor construction process and controls at all stages of the project and ensure that it is in accordance with approved plans and specifications. Ensure effective coordination is achieved with all consultants in the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, permits, and cost estimates. Support monthly/ quarterly/ yearly reporting on all due diligence and construction activity as required. Review and provide due diligence and construction budgets and schedules to the team and ensure delivery of quality projects on time and on budget. Identify and manage all due diligence issues where appropriate, elevate issues for resolution, and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
