We’re looking for a practically minded Trainee SMT Operator to join our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving practical problems, and learning how electronic assemblies are built.
Whether you’ve been a service engineer, electrical/mechanical technician, machine operator, assembly operative, or simply someone who enjoys hands‑on work — this role could be a perfect match.
⭐ What you’ll be doing
You’ll help keep our SMT production lines running smoothly. We’ll teach you how to:
* Operate SMT paste printers and follow SMT working practices
* Load components and run surface‑mount placement machines
* Operate reflow ovens and follow safe handling processes
* Carry out visual inspection to IPC‑610 quality standards
* Hand‑fit electronic components when required
If you’re used to hands‑on work or solving mechanical/technical tasks, you’ll pick this up easily.

* Or any practical job involving tools, machinery, diagnostics, or physical work
Desirable
* Good time management and proactive attitude
