We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and facilitating smooth transportation operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to optimize logistics and distribution strategies.
Duties
* Coordinate and oversee all aspects of supply chain management, including inventory control, warehouse distribution, and transportation management.
* Manage purchasing activities and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
* Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency within logistics operations.
* Monitor inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure optimal stock levels for order fulfillment.
* Collaborate with e-commerce teams to streamline shipping & receiving processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Analyze data related to logistics operations for informed decision-making and strategic planning.
* Oversee freight operations, including dispatching, picking & packing, and materials handling.
* Support category management initiatives by analyzing demand planning data and optimizing inventory turnover.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.
Requirements
* Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles, with a strong understanding of supply chain analytics.
* Knowledge of freight operations, 3PL partnerships, and NVOCC regulations is a plus.
* Strong data analysis skills to evaluate logistics performance metrics effectively.
* Experience in warehouse management, including materials management and fleet management.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
