Job Title: Contract Project Manager
As a skilled Contract Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of multiple projects. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the project team to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
About the Role:
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints
* Collaborate with the project team, including the Managing Director, Estimator, QS, and Buyer, to achieve project objectives
* Develop and implement effective project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
* Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures as necessary
Responsibilities:
Pre-construction Phase
* Attend estimating handovers to ensure accurate project scope and timelines
* Plan and coordinate pre-construction activities, including material and plant requisitions
* Coordinate client liaison activities, ensuring clear communication and expectations
* Manage relationships with designers, subcontractors, and suppliers
Construction Phase
* Coordinate and manage site labour, ensuring efficient use of resources
* Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality workmanship
* Maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and issues promptly
* Oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations
About You:
* Relevant experience in roofing and cladding contracts/project management/site management
* Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
* Desirable qualifications include Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, and NVQ level 6 or equivalent in construction or a related discipline
