We have an exciting opportunity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Team Leader to join us here at HMP Lancaster Farms, a Category C male prison on the outskirts of Lancaster.
This is a rare opportunity, created due to internal promotion, where you can join us to lead the Substance Misuse Recovery Team. The service offers a broad and diverse range of treatments to patients suffering from a range of substance misuse issues.
Hours
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are 09:00 - 17:00, with evening cover until 19:30 once per week.
Salary
This is a full time role, and the salary is £42,094 - £47,466, depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What you'll be doing
As our new Substance Misuse Team Leader, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
* Manage the Recovery service onsite, including line management responsibility for 8 Recovery Workers
* Manage the delivery of a busy and dynamic substance misuse service, providing psychosocial treatment interventions
* Play a key part within the prison's drug strategy
* Provide effective leadership to the SMS team, whilst forming part of the Senior Leadership Team onsite
* Review and improve the service offered to patients, ensuring that the team are delivering a high quality, safe, effective and efficient service to the patients

* Previous experience as a Recovery Worker
* Experience of working with individuals who misuse alcohol and substances, with knowledge of the current operating environment within substance misuse
* Excellent knowledge of the requirements to ensure CQC compliance
