What You'll Do:
This role is responsible for the development of customer-facing features from early definition to system requirements for production programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Product Managers, Project Managers, and Component Engineers, to develop engineering deliverables.
Responsibilities:
* Defining and modelling features and systems using the PREEvision toolchain across multiple domains.
* Capturing stakeholder needs, requirements, and defining high-level use cases using UML diagrams.
* Decomposing stakeholder requirements to generate verifiable requirements at a system level.
* Modelling and integrating systems, capturing logical architecture diagrams and system diagrams.
* Ensuring traceability of systems requirements to stakeholder levels.
* Conducting system design reviews with component engineers.
* Follow change control processes for incremental changes to in-service systems.
* Apply systems engineering and problem-solving tools where necessary.
Essential Requirements
* BEng or MEng in Systems Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.
* Experience in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering).
* Proficient in Systems design, requirements capture/management, and test case generation.
* Proficient in Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualities
* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
* INCOSE ASEP / CSEP certification.
* Experience with PREEvision.
* Knowledge of automotive communication standards - CAN / LIN.
Required Skills
* Ability to prepare effective presentations for non-technical professionals.
* Strong understanding of logical architecture design methods.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
* Willing to undertake UK and Overseas travel
