CHECK Team Lead – Offensive Security

A specialist cybersecurity consultancy is on the lookout for an experienced CHECK Team Lead to take charge of their offensive-security function. Known for their technical depth and risk-focused approach, they deliver pragmatic security services spanning pen testing, red teaming, incident response, compliance, and virtual security leadership.
The Role
You'll lead a growing team of skilled testers, manage the pen testing capability, and deliver high-quality technical assessments across diverse client environments. This is a hands-on leadership role combining delivery, mentoring, quality assurance, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of penetration testers, ensuring top-notch delivery
* Conduct and oversee infrastructure, web/app, cloud, wireless, and full-scope tests
* Drive red teaming and adversary simulation, shaping methodology and approach
* Review reports and provide hands-on technical support when needed
* Act as a trusted expert, offering clear advice and risk-based remediation guidance
* Collaborate with other teams to deliver integrated security solutions
* Continuously improve tools, techniques, and practices across offensive security
What You’ll Bring
* CHECK Team Leader (or CREST equivalent) – essential
* Strong background in leading offensive-security engagements
* Solid technical experience across key pen testing areas
* Proven track record in mentoring or managing technical staff
* Confident communicator, comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences
