The Role
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse. You'll be responsible for overseeing stock movement, supporting the warehouse team, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, ensuring that operational targets are met and health & safety standards are always maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Supervise and support warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
* Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
* Liaise with other departments (purchasing, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth workflow.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of new initiatives.
About You:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a supervisory or lead role.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* IT literate, with experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
* A positive, proactive approach with the ability to motivate and support a team.
