If you’re an experienced IBDP Computer Science teacher with classroom teaching experience, possess strong soft skills, and have a passion for education, you might be the perfect fit as a tutor for the extensive network at Crimson Education.
These roles are part-time and hourly and can be done remotely working with students based around the world. The remuneration is set at 45 USD per hour.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
* Working closely with a variety of students based across the world - including the US, Asia, Australia, and Europe (within a time zone appropriate for you)
* Conducting tutoring sessions with students on a frequent ongoing basis
* Using IBDP Computer Science curriculum knowledge (and the new syllabus) to deliver high-quality academic tutoring to our students
* Preparing students for upcoming examinations and strengthening base concepts in order to improve performance
* Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* You are a qualified teacher and have 3+ years of experience classroom teaching the IB Computer Science curriculum (essential)
* You have examining and/or workshop-leading experience in your subject
* You have at least 5 hours of availability to tutor each week
* You’re passionate about education and enjoy teaching - ideally, you’ve even got some experience tutoring students already!
* You’re detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills
