The Role As an Outreach Family Support Worker, you’ll work directly with families in their homes and communities, offering high-quality, targeted support that empowers them to thrive. You’ll play a key role in early intervention, preventing escalation to statutory services, and helping families access the support they need. Key Responsibilities Hold and manage complex early help cases (Levels 2–3) and support transitional cases from social care. Lead on Early Help Assessments, Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings, and action plans. Deliver bespoke support packages, including work with adolescents facing emotional and mental health challenges. Promote positive parenting and child development through practical support and advice. Maintain clear, up-to-date records on casework and family progress. Uphold safeguarding responsibilities in line with statutory guidance.Who We’re Looking For You’ll be a confident, compassionate individual with experience supporting families and children in community settings. You’ll be comfortable working independently, managing a caseload, and taking the initiative to solve problems and improve outcomes.
