We are seeking a proactive Treasury Accountant to support the financial reporting of a large-scale debt portfolio within the Group Treasury Team. The Treasury Accountant will gain exposure to financial markets, investor relations, and cash management, with the opportunity to see how complex funding structures translate into real‑world delivery while supporting a clear and meaningful social purpose.
Treasury Accountant - Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the management and reporting of a £3bn+ debt and derivatives portfolio, including hedge accounting and loan documentation
* Produce accurate treasury reporting for the Board, Treasury Committee, regulators, and credit rating agencies
* Maintain robust cashflow forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and compliance with treasury Golden Rules
* Arrange loan drawdowns, rollovers, and support securitisation activity where required
* Oversee treasury accounting, including monthly postings, reconciliations, budgets, and forecasts in line with UK GAAP / FRS 102
* Monitor financial covenants and ensure ongoing compliance across all funding arrangements
Skills and abilities
* Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* 3+ years working within finance and knowledge of SORP
* Experience working within a Treasury function
