Kitchen Assistant at Statham Manor Care Centre - Hospitality, Full-time, Permanent
Join our team at Statham Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built facility in Lymm, Cheshire, providing care to 66 residents with diverse needs including residential and nursing care. We seek a kind, organized, and motivated Kitchen Assistant to help prepare meals for residents and visitors. This is a 35-hour weekly contract at an hourly rate of £11.44. Shift hours are 08:00-19:00 with alternate weekends.
Responsibilities include:
* Assist with food preparation and cooking according to menus and instructions from the Head Chef/Assistant Chef.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and areas as per schedules.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH, and HACCP regulations.
* Follow instructions from kitchen management.
* Perform daily pot washing duties.
Skills and experience required:
* Previous experience in food services preferred.
* Experience working in a busy kitchen environment desirable.
* Effective communication skills essential.
* Willingness to learn is necessary.
* No formal qualifications required; training and development provided.
