Boluda Towage – Chief Engineer
Location: Liverpool, UK
Boluda Towage UK is seeking to hire a Chief Engineer to join our dedicated crew in Liverpool. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all onboard equipment and systems are maintained, compliant, and ready for operation.
Main responsibilities:
* Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on vessel systems and equipment
* Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, HSE-Q, and other regulations
* Plan and order spare parts, consumables, and inspections in a timely manner
* Collaborate with crew to maintain high operational standards

What we’re looking for:
* Nautical school graduate with mandatory company training
* 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on a tugboat
* Certified Engineer aligned with vessel and operational area requirements
* Valid medical and training certificates (STCW Basic Safety Training)
* Compliance with Local Manning Act and flag state regulations
