1.0 Purpose
To qualify, enhance and manage data on our CRM system (The Layer)
2.0 Dimensions
This is a new role, the objective being to improve the quality of data the sales team has to work with thus ensuring we maximise the effectiveness of our sales and marketing activities by providing them with the best possible information to work with.
Key responsibilities include: -
* Supporting both mobile and UC sales teams
* Mobile support – managing the leads we receive from money supermarket, making the initial call to qualify them. Identifying their requirements – number of handsets, current network, tariff and spend. Handset requirements and other relevant information required by the sales team to progress to develop sales opportunities
* UC Sales support – Yappl works closely with a number of companies that have laid fibre in different locations across the UK, they provide us with Ready For Service data, which means the address can have full fibre. This data needs to be enriched with company names, contacts, reg number, emails and phone numbers. This will be done using a combination of google maps and our data enrichment portal
* Ongoing management of customer data on the layer ensuring their assets and details are correct.
* Along the way, we would encourage you to engage with customers, staff and learn as many aspect of the business.
3.0 Role and Responsibilities
3.1 Creating sales data
* Qualify leads and convert them to opportunities
* Record all activities in Yappl's CRM system
* Work with your Team Leader/Sales Manager to develop the process and extend the scope of the role as required
* Selling and promoting our range of next generation fibre, UC and mobile solutions
* Qualify customers for mobile and where pass to the mobile team as an opportunity
3.2 Driving Quality and Compliance
Be a positive ambassador for the business, generating quality business opportunities.
Follow our sales processes, using Yappls systems and process thoroughly
3.3 Trackers and Management Reports
Where required, provide reports on activities and opportunities
Utilise MI reports to drive track your own performance
4.0 Generic Role Requirements

To support the sales team with any additional sales management activities and support where required

Experience with managing inbound enquiries is essential, outbound a benefit for future development
