Overview
Procurement Officer role at PVF SCAFFOLDING LTD. Responsible for the overall buying of scaffolding to ensure delivery within the timeframes set by clients, including last-minute requests.
Reporting
Reports to: Deputy Delivery Operations Manager
Responsibilities
* Manage and schedule all available work to ensure timely delivery within the client’s required timeframe.
* Maintain strong relationships within the Network to facilitate effective communication, support difficult conversations and drive successful negotiations.
* Provide constructive feedback on poor performance and work collaboratively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Take accountability for the overall GP on the projects delivered weekly, including the ability to analyse and justify any losses incurred.
* Work proactively to enhance the coverage and utilisation of the Network by supporting improvements in current partner engagement and onboarding new Network Partners to expand reach.
* Evaluate and select network partners based on previous usage and performance to optimize procurement decisions.
* Coordinate and consolidate work orders to leverage better purchasing options and achieve cost efficiencies.
* Perform accurate data entry and manage multiple systems to ensure all procurement data is up-to-date and error-free.
* Collaborate closely with various internal departments to support project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
* Support in covering holiday.
Requirements and Skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with Scaffolders and internal teams via phone conversations.
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
* Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to work independently
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong computing skills
* Can do attitude.
