As a Production Team Leader, you will lead a team to deliver our production plan to feed our happy and healthy dogs. This role involves driving high team performance, embracing our culture and functional requirements, making continuous improvements, and elevating our operations. Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, you will support daily operations and ensure our dogs receive the best human-quality meals.
Operational Requirements
1. Accountable for health and safety standards on shift, conducting daily audits, raising corrective actions, and resolving issues.
2. Complete thorough accident investigations, root cause analysis, and near miss reports, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
3. Review staff training and development, ensuring compliance with SOPs and documentation.
4. Manage labor effectively, including holidays and absences, proactively identifying issues.
5. Maintain GMP standards and verify IMS checks from cooking to cleaning.
6. Provide supervision, support, and leadership to meet operational metrics on quality, output, and waste.
7. Lead continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives to contribute to savings.
Communication & Partnership
1. Communicate clearly with the SLT, especially in the absence of the Shift Operations Manager.
2. Ensure effective daily handovers and coordinate with procurement and planning teams to meet sales demand.
3. Collaborate with multiple teams including People, Engineering, Technical, Warehouse, and Fulfillment.
