We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Librarian to join an Outstanding secondary school in Durham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about literacy, reading and supporting students in developing independent learning skills.
The successful candidate will manage the school library, ensuring it is a welcoming, well-resourced and inspiring environment for students. You will work closely with staff and students to promote reading for pleasure, support research skills and contribute to whole-school literacy initiatives.
This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication and the ability to engage students positively. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of reading and supporting academic success across the school.
