The Role
We are recruiting 3 experienced Fitters (Mount Line / Pipe & Wire) to join a busy engineering/manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems, working with pipe & wire assemblies, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and install mechanical components and systems
* Pipe & wire fitting on mount line assemblies
* Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Fault finding and supporting production targets
* Maintain high quality and safety standards
* Promote good housekeeping and PPE compliance
Quality & Teamwork
* Take ownership of your work quality
* Raise and report any quality issues
* Work collaboratively with team leaders and colleagues
* Support recovery plans when production targets are at risk
Health & Safety
* Follow all H&S procedures at all times
* Identify and report potential risks
* Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Pipe & Wire Fitter
* Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
* Basic IT skills (use of production systems)
