Occupational Therapy, Clinical Support Worker
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker to join the Inpatient Mental Health Team in the North East of Glasgow at Stobhill Mental Health Campus. The Inpatient Occupational Therapy Team works across the inpatient site including adult acute admissions, older people’s mental health and rehabilitation.
Shift Pattern
8.30–4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
* Support ward‑based therapeutic activity, home visits and community work as prescribed by the qualified occupational therapist.
* Facilitate group and individual work.
* Assist the qualified occupational therapist with specialist assessments of the patient group and allocate work to this postholder.
* Provide supervision and support the development of the clinical support worker.
* Regular clinical supervision will be provided.
Qualifications
* HNC in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications and / or experience.
* Highly motivated, flexible and have excellent communication and written skills.
* Previous work experience as an occupational therapy support worker would be desirable.
