Job Description Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Ofsted) – Up to £54,000 The service is looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children’s home and provide the highest standards of care, support, and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Children’s Home Manager who is passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives while leading a committed team in a supportive and rewarding environment. As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Ofsted-registered children’s home. You’ll ensure the home is a safe, nurturing, and positive environment where children and young people can thrive, while meeting all regulatory requirements and providing strong leadership to the staff team. Essential Skills & Qualifications Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services. At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager or similar leadership role within a children’s home. Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, inspections, safeguarding, whistleblowing, and supervision practices. Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role. Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and quality of care are always prioritised. Provide supervision, support, and development for staff to ensure best practice. Oversee inspections, audits, and compliance with policies and procedures. Promote a warm, supportive, and stable environment for children and young people.
