GSL Education are hiring an experienced Geography Teacher to work with schools in Worksop (S81), delivering engaging lessons that make geography accessible, interesting, and relevant to students. As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, encourage critical thinking, and inspire curiosity about global issues and environments. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach topics including climate, ecosystems, population, and global development. Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking about geographical issues. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
