Job Description
SRG is seeking a Commercial Supply Chain Manager to join an international business process outsourcing and professional services company specializing in the defence sector. The role is multidisciplinary, involving interactions with various internal and external stakeholders.
The Commercial Supply Chain Manager will provide commercial support across Operational, Programme, and Finance workstreams, managing all matters related to Equipment and Asset Management throughout the contractual lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing proposals, implementing subcontract amendments, and establishing new suppliers from requirement definition to procurement, onboarding, and ongoing management.
Responsibilities
* Partner with senior management and suppliers to resolve commercial issues pragmatically.
* Build strong relationships with Customer and Supplier Commercial Teams.
* Manage obligations, assumptions, and dependencies across subcontracts.
* Support supplier selection, onboarding, and requirement definition.
* Assist in assessing and processing change requirements from both customer and suppliers, validating impacts on contracts and prices.
* Conduct performance reviews with operational supplier owners and customers.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date contractual documentation.
* Act as a trusted partner, providing contract advice and handling queries.
* Identify risks and opportunities, proposing solutions and mitigations.
* Manage change control and task requests to maximize commercial opportunities.
* Advise on legislative changes such as Data Protection.
* Ensure compliance with commercial governance and policies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record in complex contract environments with strong communication skills.
* Experience in commercial and contractual activities, including drafting subcontracts.
* Skilled in employing commercial acumen to guide senior leadership.
* Experience in procurement in equipment or complex services environments.
* Collaborative team player with influencing skills.
* Resilient, positive, and capable of conflict resolution.
* Analytical problem solver with data-driven decision-making skills.
* Ability to manage high workloads and prioritize effectively.
* Flexible working across multiple locations, including remote work.
