The Role
As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will undertake a 12-month development program to gain comprehensive operational, service, and leadership experience, preparing you to become a future Store Manager. You'll work through our career pathway training with the support of your Store Manager to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and improving KPI metrics.
* Deliver exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
* Offer a VIP concierge service to customers, keeping them updated on products and tastings.
* Share your passion for products through in-depth knowledge, managing tasting events, and executing an appealing tasting counter.
* Own your wine knowledge, support your WSET qualifications, and build confidence in selling.
* Maintain the store’s appearance and ensure operational tasks are completed efficiently.
* Identify and implement improvements to optimise store operations.
* Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and company policies.
* Take responsibility for your personal development and support junior team members as an example of Majestic’s Ways of Working.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.
* Positive attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
* Adaptability and resilience.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Passion for learning about wines; willingness to achieve WSET Level 2 & 3.
* Full UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
