You’ll play a pivotal role in integrating, testing, and securing a range of systems and applications, with a strong focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Engineer within our Integration & Test team, you’ll be at the forefront of driving innovation and safeguarding digital infrastructures by ensuring robust, high-performance systems that support our mission-critical solutions.
You’ll need to have an understanding of Windows and Linux systems and DevSecOps principles and experience of working within a multi-disciplined team. Knowledge and understanding of core software tools, methods, and frameworks to reliably integrate and deploy, integrate, and test features into environments to ensure optimum outcomes for our customers. Additionally, we’re looking for candidates with hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, including expertise in areas such as cloud architecture, containerization (., Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (., Terraform, Ansible), and system performance optimization to support seamless integration and testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, develop, and execute software test and integration plans, ensuring compliance with specifications, while leveraging infrastructure engineering best practices to maintain system reliability and scalability.
2. Develop scripts and integrate automated testing frameworks within CI/CD pipelines and a wider ecosystem of tools, incorporating infrastructure automation to streamline deployments.
3. Debug and identify defects in the whole stack, from front-end to back-end databases and middleware, with a focus on resolving infrastructure-related bottlenecks and issues.
4. Integration and delivery of large and complex solutions into a wider system-of-systems, ensuring infrastructure components are robust and interoperable.
5. Deployment in Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud environments, addressing potential constraints while optimizing infrastructure performance and security.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
6. Demonstrable experience in the field of Test and Integration. The ability to work within an agile environment and delivering using Scrum and Sprints utilising tools such as Jira and Confluence to help planning and collaboration.
7. Experience working with Agile and DevSecOps software delivery.
8. Experience of Agile Development using SCRUM.
9. Experience planning, developing and executing test plans
10. Experience in developing strategies supporting formal product sell off
11. Experience in automated testing in the software domain
12. Experience in developing GitLab CI/CD Pipelines.
13. Experience with Commercial and Open Source automated testing frameworks
14. Experience working with Git, Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence or similar
15. Knowledge and automation of both functional and non-functional aspects of a system
16. Automated analysis and reporting of test results, identifying trends or anomalies overtime
17. Knowledge and experience in setup and development of testing environments and Blue Green deployment approach
18. Experience in integration and debugging complex software systems at scale
19. Qualifications or Certifications in one or more of the following: ISTQB Foundation, ISTQB Testing Specialism (Agile, Performance, Security, Manager or Analyst), ISTQI - Certified Agile Tester
Desired Skills:
20. Can support maturation of automated CI/CD software pipelines for Cloud deployments
21. Understanding of IaC and using this to deploy and integrate services on cloud
22. Hands on experience in using and integrating with AWS Services such as EC2, EKS, Fargate, IAM, S3, Lambda
23. Experience using the AWS SDK (Boto3) to automate integration tasks
24. Experience or understanding integrating hybrid-cloud application deployments
25. Understanding of CloudTrail to debug and diagnose integration issues
