The Garden Spa is the only Spa in the UK and Ireland topartner with L’Occitane, offering guests a truly distinctive spa experience.
As a Spa Therapist, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality treatments and maintaining the calm, welcoming environment our guests expect. You will ensure each guest enjoys a relaxing and professional spa experience from arrival to departure.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering a range of treatments including facials, massages, body treatments, manicures and pedicures.
2. Advising guests on appropriate spa and retail products from our L’Occitane range.
3. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards across all spa and pool areas.
4. Preparing treatment rooms to a consistently high standard, including sanitising equipment and replenishing supplies.
5. Managing treatment timings effectively to ensure smooth guest flow and punctual appointments.
6. Supporting opening and closing procedures within the spa.
7. Supporting the spa reception team when required.
8. Working collaboratively with the wider hotel team to uphold service standards.
About You
9. Qualified to NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent).
10. Professional, reliable and guest-focused.
11. Comfortable working flexibly within a rota system. We typically follow a rolling 2 weekly rota that allows 1 weekend in and 1 weekend off, alternating.
12. A team player with strong attention to detail.
Pay
13. Monthly service charge, shared fairly across the hotel
14. Typically around £160 per month (approximately £2,000 per year) for full-time employees, in addition to base pay.
15. 10% commission on retail.
