Senior Staff Nurse – Plastics & Cosmetics Salary: £37,250 – £45,087 per annum Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) Location: Cranbrook, TN17 Setting: Hospital – Plastics & Cosmetic Services Role Overview An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join a specialist plastics and cosmetics service. You will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across outpatient and inpatient pathways, supporting patients from consultation through to surgery and discharge. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for plastics and cosmetic patients Act as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity, safety and positive patient experience Support pre-op, post-op, wound care and tissue viability management Provide leadership and support to nursing teams Support service development and operational coordination Participate in MDT meetings, audits, and clinical development Ensure clinical areas and equipment are safe and fit for purpose Contribute to governance, quality improvement, and performance management Requirements First Level Registered Nurse (NMC) Evidence of CPD and revalidation Experience in surgical nursing environments Wound care/tissue viability knowledge Pre-assessment experience or willingness to train Phlebotomy and ECG skills ILS trained (or willingness to train) Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills Patient-focused, professional, and proactive approach
