Job Title: Electrical Qualifying Supervisor
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

A leading M&E Contractor is looking for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join their expanding team. The business offers an all-in-one Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC installation package for commercial and industrial projects ranging in value from 80k to £3m including schools, offices, manufacturing and retail.
As the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will be overseeing electrical installations compliance and documentations ensuring every project reflects the company’s dedication to quality, safety and compliance.
You will act as the technical authority for the electrical team, signing off works, conducting inspections and tests, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
As the Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, you will have the following responsibilities:
* An active part in leading the team to ensure electrical installations meet and exceed their high standards and the rigorous NICEIC and industry standards.
* Validate inspection and testing results, ensuring all certifications align with their standards.
* Conduct inspection, testing, verification and certification of electrical installations.
* Audit site works and carry out internal quality assurance and compliance checks.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation and reports for all electrical works.
* Provide expert technical advice to electricians, apprentices and sub-contractors, helping overcome challenges, resolve issues and offering solutions where necessary.
* Monitor health & safety compliance on site ensuring all team members follow safe systems of work.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies (NICEIC) as required.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
* City and Guilds 2391 in Testing & Inspection.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems, construction practices and industry standards.
* Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
* Strong technical knowledge, with an eye for detail and a passion for quality.
* H&S Knowledge.
