Role
My name is Catherine, and I am looking for a patient, calm natured and fun Personal Assistant to support my son, Tony, in accessing the community and to support him to enjoy participating in the activities he loves, while keeping him safe.
About Tony
Tony is an almost 20-year-old man who enjoys activities such as bowling, swimming, and making use of public transport. Tony is a kind young gentleman who is very polite and well-spoken and generally has a lovely all-round nature. Like most young men, Tony likes to have a pint, although he knows his own limits and only has one as he isn’t keen on the feeling when he’s had more. He is not keen on strangers, and once he has decided to not like someone, it is hard to change his mind, therefore a good first impression is important.
Tony is autistic and has anxiety, meaning he can get over stressed from busy environments. He does not like loud noises, bright lights or crowded area. This can include things such as loud hand dryers in public bathrooms and lawn mowers when outside.
Requirements
An enhanced DBS will be required for this role and any offer of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory references and DBS.
