The Role
As a Lecturer in Maths, you will be part of the Maths & English department, delivering Maths GCSE and Functional Skills to learners on study programmes. You will contribute to the development and success of the department, including focusing on attendance, achievement, and student success. You will also be involved in curriculum design and development linked to vocational areas, ensuring a high standard of quality provision.
What are we looking for?
We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a Level 4 or above qualification in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one within two years). Experience teaching Maths to 14-19-year-olds, awareness of current developments in the discipline, proven organisational skills, teamwork ability, and flexibility are essential.
