The Role
Based at our North West depot (Leigh, Lancashire), we are expanding our engineering department and we are looking for the right people to join our dedicated engineering team. Always looking to provide outstanding customer service, your role will include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing our industry leading fleet of access platforms on customers' sites or from our modern workshop.
* Servicing, repairs and maintenance of a range of powered access equipment.
* Routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products.
* Completing all relevant paperwork.
* Carry out refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary.
* Liaise with workshop members to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs also providing recommendations regarding write off, damage and recharge to customers.
* Ensure service records are maintained.
* Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work.
* Ensure product damage is highlighted.
* Carry out Ad Hoc tasks and duties as required.

The Person
The key skills and qualities required:
· Relevant experience or qualifications within the powered access industry e.g CAP (essential), IPAF and manufacturer courses (desirable)
· General mechanical experience with the ability to diagnose and repair faults on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
· Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service
· Dedicated to their trade as well as constantly looking to learn and improve
