We are currently recruiting for a QA Technician to join our Bromborough Technical Team.
Working Hours: 5 days out of 6 days hours per week - Day Shift
The purpose of the role is to ensure that all products meet integrity and specification requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that one-page specs for products are on the line prior to start up
* Responsible for changing the threshold on metal detectors.
* Responsible for conducting fat tests for the Mince line only.
* Conducting various pre and postproduction checks, including Gas, average weight, metal detector, finish product, pre-despatch and despatch
* Daily calibration checks of probes
* Responsible for taking lab samples and conducting meat content analysis.
* Checking labels for accuracy against specification and product, including conducting double check
* Conducting Retail pack tare checks on catch weights
* Conducting scale verification
* T2 chart (check scale is running average weight)
* Completing random checks on lines to see if any old scan labels have been left.
* Machine Mind including labellers and Sealpac.
