Salary: £21,000 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Pupil Support Worker to join our supportive team. You will play a vital role in helping pupils with special educational needs (SEN) to access learning, develop independence, and thrive both academically and socially.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and who can provide patient, tailored support within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who have a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech & language needs, and social, emotional & mental health needs.
* Support pupils to access the curriculum and engage in learning activities.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans.
* Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and parents to ensure consistent support.
* Provide personal care where necessary, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
* Able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
* Flexible and adaptable in meeting the individual needs of pupils.
* Enthusiastic about supporting children with SEN to reach their full potential.
* Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
* Willing to undertake relevant training.
