Job Title: Crane Supervisor
Location: Aylesford
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crane Supervisor to oversee crane operations at our site in Aylesford. The ideal candidate will ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate crane operations on site, ensuring all lifts are planned and executed safely.
* Develop lift plans and risk assessments in collaboration with site management and rigging teams.
* Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before use to ensure safety and compliance.
* Monitor crane operators and slinger signallers, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Investigate and report any incidents or near misses related to lifting operations.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and site personnel to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor or similar role within the construction or industrial sector.
* Relevant certifications such as Banksman/Slinger, CPCS, or NVQ in Crane Supervision.
* Strong knowledge of lifting regulations and best practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret lift plans and technical documents.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
* Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to site requirements.
